Border agents make 15 arrests in 12 days

Agents from the Interstate 19 checkpoint seized a Mercury sedan Aug. 2 and arrested a U.S. citizen after a drug-sniffing dog led agents to the discovery of almost eight pounds of methamphetamine concealed in a false compartment in the rear seat. The drugs were worth more than $123,000.
