Border busts

A 19-year-old Douglas man was arrested June 26, after border officers say they found more than 250 pounds of marijuana in the Chevrolet pickup truck he was driving.

The teen was pulled over for questioning after a drug dog alerted to the presence of drugs in the pickup. Officers found 37 packages of marijuana with an estimated street value of about $127,000, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection news release says.
