Border Busts

A 46-year-old Phoenix man was apprehended Monday at the San Luis border crossing after agents say they found nearly 42 pounds hidden in his Ford pickup truck. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers and a drug dog found 16 packages of cocaine with an estimated street value of about $378,000, throughout the Ford pickup driven by Martin De La Torre Dominguez.  The drugs and vehicle were seized. De La Torre was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
