• Tucson Museum of Art: The museum’s chief development officer, Alba Rojas-Sukkar, has been named a certified fundraising executive. She joins more than 5,500 professionals around the world who hold the CFRE designation. Individuals granted the CFRE credential have met a series of standards set by CFRE International, which include tenure in the profession, education, demonstrated fundraising achievement and a commitment to service to not-for-profit organizations.
  • Tucson Metro Chamber: The Chamber’s Project Prosperity program has been selected by the Metropolitan Pima Alliance Board of Directors as one of the 2017 Common Ground Award Top 20 Projects of the Year. The Common Ground Awards ceremony honors community leaders, projects and economic development programs that overcome great obstacles through collaboration. The Tucson Metro Chamber Project Prosperity Task Force was developed when the Chamber brought together area business leaders to assess promoting a higher level of understanding and cooperation between business and city of Tucson departments. The task force identified seven opportunities for improvement, then reached out to city officials to work together on objectives.
  • Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage: Coldwell has been ranked the No. 1 real estate company in south Pima County and southwest Tucson based on total sales units of 292 and sales volume of $47 million from July 1, 2016, to June 30, 2017. The brokerage’s offices serving the region are: Tucson/Foothills, 2890 E. Skyline Drive; Green Valley, 180 W. Continental Road; and Williams Centre, 5460 E. Broadway.
  • Vantage West: Vantage West was honored with the 2017 Credit Union of the Year Award (the over $500 million asset category) by the Mountain West Credit Union Association, a regional trade association. The honor recognizes the credit union’s achievements in areas such as financial performance, innovative approaches to enhance member service, partnerships with local nonprofits and business organizations and public service. The association includes credit unions from Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming. The award was accepted by Vantage CEO Robert D. Ramirez.
