Here’s what you need to know about claiming a tax credit for donations to foster-care organizations.

  • The maximum credit for a donation to a foster-care organization is $1,000 for married couples and $500 for all other filers — that’s an increase over the maximum donations of $400 and $200 for the 2015 tax year.
  • For a complete list of qualifying foster-care organizations serving Pima County, see Page 11 of this section or visit azdor.gov/Portals/0/RefundCredits/CertifiedFosterCareCharities2016.pdf
  • To claim the foster-care organization credits, use Form 352.
  • Contributions to a Qualifying Foster Care Charitable Organization must be made by April 18, 2017.
