Northwest Medical Center announced today that Kevin Stockton will become its chief executive officer on March 14.

Stockton has held a variety of leadership positions in hospital administration for more than 14 years and is currently CEO of Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, a 404-bed academic center.  His background includes strategic planning, physician recruitment and relations, commitment to employee satisfaction and a dedication to providing high-quality, safe patient care, Northwest Medical said in a news release.

He is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a master’s degree in business and public administration and a focus on healthcare administration.

“My wife Leslie, our two small children and I are thrilled to be returning to our hometown,” Stockton said in the news release. “I am especially excited about joining the team at Northwest Medical Center where the daily focus on quality, service, and patient safety matches my own personal standards.”
