Tucson’s newest Costco, which has risen from the dirt in recent months near Kino Parkway and Interstate 10, will have its grand opening April 14.
The wholesale retailer will anchor a roughly 114-acre shopping center called Tucson Marketplace at the Bridges. Mike Dabrota, vice president of Northwest Atlantic, Costco’s real estate arm, confirmed the opening date Friday.
The shopping center's developers — Retail West Properties LLC, Eastbourne Investments LLC and Genesis Tucson LLC — turned the property for the store over to Costco Wholesale Corp. at the beginning of December.
The store will employ about 200 workers.
