Ghini's French Caffe is pouring samples of its expansive collection of mostly import beers for the incredibly affordable price of free.

There is no catch, but if you didn't reserve a seat with chef/owner Coralie Satta before today, you'll have to sip your beer standing.

Ghini's serves beers from France (Kronenbourg), Belgium (the double aled Grimbergen Dubbel), Germany (Warsteiner Dunkel), the UK (Samuel Smith) as well as several domestic craft brews (Utah's Hop Notch, California's Orange Avenue Wit and Deleware's Dogfish Head Midas Touch). They also have on tap the gluten-free Redbridge Red Lager from Missouri.

The free beer tasting event is from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ghini's, 1803 E. Prince Road.

Ghini's is a popular French cafe that serves breakfast and lunch. They serve dinner one night a week, during their Friday Night Bistro from 3 to 9 p.m. today. The menu includes seared mussels, rosemary lamb sliders, a sausage and mushroom ragôut served with soft polenta and a butternut squash and sage cream pasta.
