Gas prices continued to fall in Arizona for the second week in a row, according to AAA Arizona. But Tucson no longer boasts the state's lowest average price.

The statewide average price dropped almost 4 cents this week to $3.32 per gallon of regular on Thursday, AAA said. The nationwide average fell almost 6 cents this week to $3.38 per gallon.

Tucson lost its long-held distinction of having the lowest average gas price in the state, though the average price fell more than 2 cents this week to $3.25 per gallon on Thursday. Glendale is the new low-price leader, with an average price of $3.23 per gallon after a 7-cent drop this week.

Flagstaff kept the highest average gas price, at $3.55 per gallon on Thursday.

Given current market factors, the national fuel average could shed another 25 to 30 cents per gallon by the end of the year, AAA said.
