After completely renovating its space and receiving an AAA four-diamond rating for its 20th straight year, Gold restaurant at Westward Look started the new year on a high note.

“Gold is honored to mark 20 years as one of Tucson’s very best restaurants,” said David Yamada, general manager of Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa, 245 E. Ina Road.

The rating came just in time for the launch of Gold’s remodeling and new menu. The 2,200-square-foot restaurant, known for its panoramic mountain and city views and regional menu, was closed for about two months while it renovated its interior.

The room was gutted, adding $280,000 in renovations, which include new tile, carpet, paint and furniture.

Gold is once again open for business, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 11 a.m. Mondays though Sundays. Lunch hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and dinner hours are 5:30 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.
