Hotel Congress's Cup Cafe restaurant has created a special cocktail to help support the Women's Foundation of Southern Arizona.

"La Feminista" — a blend of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, St. Germain Liqueur and ginger beer — makes its debut at a tasting from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Hotel Congress lobby, 311 E. Congress St. Admission is free, but it'll cost you $10 for the drink. No one under 21 will be admitted.

Now through Dec. 31, a portion of every La Feminista sold at Hotel Congress's bars and the Cup Cafe will go to the Women’s Foundation of Southern Arizona.

Hotel Congress General Manager Todd Hanley said if La Feminista proves to be a success, it could join the hotel's cocktail menu beyond year's end. Another drink that debuted as special and ended up as a fixture on the menu is the Ghost Orchid, made with ginger beer, Absolut Citron, Domaine de Canton, lemon and peach bitters.
