KVOA names Matt Brode
Matt Brode was named chief meteorologist for KVOA-TV/News 4 Tucson (NBC).
Brode has been working as consulting chief meteorologist at KVOA since rejoining the station in May, coming from the CBS affiliate in Portland, Ore.
He began his broadcast career at the CBS affiliate in Duluth, Minn., then joined the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach, Fla.
He previously worked at KVOA as a morning and midday meteorologist from 2006-2010.
Brode holds dual degrees from the University of Arizona: a bachelor of arts in communications and a bachelor of science in atmospheric sciences.
Tracy Goggin promoted
at UA Health Network
Tracy Goggin was appointed assistant administrator of clinical operations, pediatrics, at the University of Arizona Health Network. Goggin will oversee the pediatric service line revenue cycle to include non-payor contract negotiations and management, as well as work closely with health network’s corporate leadership on global corporate projects, the UA said in a news release.
Goggin has worked with the University of Arizona Department of Pediatrics since 1995.
She started as reimbursement coordinator and for 14 years served as operations, reimbursement and coding manager, providing oversight of all clinical operations and revenue cycle activities for the department.
Bill VandenBerg joins
Lang Wyatt Construction
Bill VandenBerg joined Lang Wyatt Construction as director of development.
He will represent the company in developing and nurturing client relationships through customer service.
VandenBerg brings more than 40 years of commercial construction and management experience. Proficient in business development and project management, he is also a LEED accredited professional as well as ASHE and MSHA certified, the company said.
He previously owned a general contracting firm in Michigan and was a licensed builder in multiple states as well as a real estate broker.
EEC’s Montoya brings
Ray P. Montoya, PE, has joined Engineering and Environmental Consultants Inc. as director of water and wastewater services in Arizona.
Montoya has more than 15 years of experience in project management, planning design, and construction services for water and wastewater projects and was previously with Kennedy/Jenks Consultants.
