El Conquistador taps marketing manager

Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort has named Jennifer Brack as marketing manager of the AAA Four Diamond Award resort.

Brack was most recently the marketing manager at The Westin La Cantera Hill Country Resort in San Antonio. She also held a previous position with Tapatio Springs Resort & Conference Center.

Brack will manage and oversee all resort collateral, as well as digital and print marketing for the resort, conference center, tennis and golf facilities, and the country club.

Steele Center adds development liaison

Alexandra “Allie” O’Brien has joined the University of Arizona Steele Children’s Research Center as development coordinator.

O’Brien will support the center’s director of development on fundraising and development activities. She will also serve as a liaison and representative to volunteer groups and donors who support the Steele Center; and she will assist with its expansion to Phoenix.

O’Brien recently graduated from the UA Eller College of Management with a bachelor of science degree in business management with an emphasis in global studies.

Polletta joins Cadden management team

Local association management company Cadden Community Management announced that Mike Polletta has joined the Tucson office as director of sales and marketing.

Cadden “is responsible for maintaining and increasing property values of homes in approximately 200 communities in Tucson, Green Valley and Sierra Vista,” the company said in a news release.

Polletta has lived in Tucson since 1996. His background is in graphic design, print production and sales.

CPA joins firm

as a tax manager

Jed N. Lightcap, CPA has joined Regier Carr & Monroe, LLP as a tax manager.

His responsibilities include review and preparation of complex income tax returns, tax and general accounting compliance and planning, and training and supervision of staff.

Lightcap has more than 12 years of accounting experience, in the public and private sectors. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Missouri.
