Coldwell Banker promotes Statt

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has promoted Michelle Statt to regional administrative coordinator.

In her new position, Statt will be involved in the training of office administrators throughout the state.

Statt, formerly office administrator for the company's Foothills office, joined the company in 2002 and helped develop and implement Coldwell Banker's transaction-management system.

Quarles & Brady names co-managers

Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Craig Kaufman and Gavin Milczarek-Desai have been named co-managing partners of the national law firm's Tucson office.

They succeed Susan Boswell, who is stepping down as a managing partner after 14 years to devote her time to leading the firm's national bankruptcy practice.

Kaufman joined the firm in 1984 and practices in the firm's commercial litigation section, with experience in industries including title insurance, financial institutions, construction, and semiconductor and other manufacturing industries. He received his law degree, summa cum laude, from the Washburn University School of Law.

Milczarek-Desai joined Quarles & Brady in 2003 and is a member of the firm's intellectual property practice. He focuses on national and international patent litigation, trademark law and licensing transactions. He received his law degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where he is now an adjunct professor, and his doctorate in molecular and cellular biology from the UA.

Chamber of Commerce takes Solomon aboard

Allyson Solomon joined the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce in February as the chamber's public-policy analyst.

Solomon graduated from the University of Arizona in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and interned at the chamber after graduating.

Previously, Solomon served as economic development intern for the town of Oro Valley and was involved with the town's economic development summit in January.
