Nash named new director of osteopathic foundation
Steve Nash is the new executive director of the Tucson Osteopathic Medical Foundation.
He replaces Lew Riggs, who retired as director April 30 after serving 25 years.
A native Arizonan, Nash majored in journalism and history at Northern Arizona University and earned a law degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Nash comes to the foundation from the Pima County Medical Society, where he was executive director for nearly 22 years. Upon learning that he was leaving, the Medical Society created an award in his name that will be given regularly to the non-physician who has most contributed to the improvement of health care in Tucson.
Tucson attorney Wiley appointed to global board
Waterfall Economidis, a Tucson-based law firm, announced that Jill D. Wiley has been appointed to the board of directors for Meritas, a global alliance of business law firms.
Wiley will be responsible for reviewing and establishing policy and setting strategy for the alliance. She will also serve as a liaison to member firms on administrative issues.
The Meritas board of directors comprises 21 lawyers from its member firms around the world.
Wiley practices in the area of estate planning, trusts, probate administration, estate and trust litigation, and charitable foundations. She earned her law degree from University of Arizona.
Local Farmers office adds 2 insurance advisers
The Southern Arizona District Office of Farmers Insurance Group has appointed two new advisers in Tucson:
• Dustin Zimmermann, who holds property/casualty and life/health insurance licenses.
He has specialized in the sales and marketing industry for more than 12 years.
• Jay Hansen, who also holds property/casualty and life/health insurance licenses.
He has specialized in human resources and worked with non-profit organizations.
