Sierra Tucson names Stephen Fahey executive director

Sierra Tucson named Stephen Fahey executive director. He has been a leader in the behavioral-health field for more than 20 years, Sierra Tucson said in a news release.

Among other positions, he has been CEO of the National Deaf Academy in Mount Dora, Fla.; president and CEO of a private, not-for-profit health-care organization in Westport, Conn.; a regional director with Charter Behavioral Health overseeing 12 hospitals in its Eastern Division; CEO of the Westbrook facility in Richmond, Va.; and administrator of behavioral health at a five-hospital medical system in central Florida. He began his career as a psychotherapist.

Fahey's honors include the Connecticut Secretary of the State's 2003 Public Service Award; board membership on the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems; and "Outstanding CEO" among 92 hospitals.

Fahey holds a master's in business administration in health-care management from Boston University, a master's in social work in clinical social work from Boston College School of Social Work, and a B.A. in psychology from Providence College.

Rosenfeld joins UA College of Nursing as associate dean

Anne Gassmann Rosenfeld, Ph.D., joined the University of Arizona College of Nursing as associate dean for research.

In November 2011 at the American Heart Association annual scientific sessions, Rosenfeld presented the "State of the Science: Women and Heart Disease."

"She is internationally respected for her research program focusing on how women experience cardiac symptoms and seek health care," UA said in a news release.

Rosenfeld most recently was associate dean for research, innovation and translation at Oregon Health and Science University School of Nursing. She is a cardiovascular clinical nurse specialist, and a fellow of the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Nursing.

She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the College of Mount Saint Joseph, her master's degree in nursing from the University of Arizona, her doctorate in nursing from Oregon Health and Sciences University, and completed postdoctoral studies through the American Heart Association.

TCI Wealth Advisors names 2 new partners to company

TCI Wealth Advisors, Inc. named two new partners in Tucson: Hank Peck and Sam Swift.

Peck is a certified financial planner in the Tucson office with an extensive background in employee benefits and insurance. Peck joined TCI in 2008.

Swift is a certified financial analyst and joined TCI in 2006. Swift manages the implementation of client portfolios and continual analysis of investments.
