How people and products move across town and around the globe to ensure that what we want is available on store shelves or delivered to our door.

Interested?

Learn how to prepare for a career in logistics at the Youth Career Expo, presented by the Pima County Workforce Investment Board Youth Council and One-Stop Career Center. Hosts of the event are the Port of Tucson, the Tucson Airport Authority, Tucson Youth Development and the Office of the Pima County Schools Superintendent.

When?

Wednesday, April 30, from 3 to 6 p.m.

Where?

Port of Tucson, 6964 E. Century Park Drive

Who can attend?

People ages 14 to 21. Parents also are encouraged to attend.

Cost?

Registration is free, but space is limited. RSVP to Linda.Reyes@acehs.org by April 25. Transportation assistance is available.

What will I learn?

The expo will feature speakers, information booths and breakout sessions on logistics career paths. Pima County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry says the county is ideally situated to grow its logistics industry because of our two airports, rail, interstates and access to the deep-water seaport in Sonora.
