Eighteen months after opening his downtown nightclub, Kade Mislinski is rebranding the Playground Bar & Lounge as equal parts restaurant and nightclub.

Mislinski last week rolled out a new, expanded food and cocktail menu for the Playground, 278 E. Congress St., next to his popular Hub Restaurant and Ice Creamery. The new menu adds entrees including fried chicken ($11) and the Loco Moco ($12), cheesy grits and rice with grass-fed beef, eggs and gravy.

The cocktail menu includes the aptly dubbed Quittin’ Time citrus concoction made with Grey Goose Vodka and the more sophisticated Alfred Pennyworth that mixes Botanivore Gin with a splash of Aperol and vermouth.
