Three Tucsonans will be given refurbished, late-model vehicles in April that were donated by GEICO and refurbished by Caliber Collision employees who volunteer their personal time.

Nominations of deserving local recipients can be made online at and must be received by March 15.

Potential recipients must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to insure and maintain the vehicle. Final selection will be made by an independent committee of community leaders.

“Reliable transportation is something many of us take for granted but for those without it, everyday activities like going to work, school, shopping, simply taking care of their families, presents a challenge,” Michael Quinn, Caliber Collision vice president, said in a news release.

“Recycled Rides is one way in which Caliber Collision can give back to the local communities we serve.”
