Shopping the after-Christmas sales is as much of a tradition as Black Friday shopping for many consumers. Last year, shoppers spent $7.1 billion the day after Christmas, according to ShopperTrak, a retail traffic data company.

In their never-ending quest to surpass last year's totals, major Tucson retailers are offering extended shopping hours today.

Store hours

To help shoppers plan their day, we put together a list of some retailers' and mall hours.

• Best Buy: 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

• Cost Plus World Market: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

• Dillard's: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

• Foothills Mall: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

• Home Depot: 6 a.m.-9 p.m.

• JC Penney: 7 a.m.-10 p.m.

• Kmart: 6 a.m.-midnight

• Kohl's: 5 a.m.-11 p.m.

• La Encantada: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

• Lowe's: 6 a.m.-9 p.m.

• Macy's: 7 a.m.-10 p.m.

• Michael's: 7 a.m.-9 p.m.

• Old Navy: 7 a.m.-11 p.m.

• Park Place and Tucson Mall: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

• Ross: 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

• Sears: 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
