Just Between Friends, Tucson’s largest consignment sale of children’s items, is taking place today through Saturday at the Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave.

JBF holds two events each year, giving Tucson families the opportunity to make money selling unwanted items, and to save money on used clothes, toys, books and furniture for maternity needs to teens, with items priced at about a third of their retail value. Consignors make 65 percent of the sale.

The sale is organized by size, gender and item, like it would be at a department store. New this year is a dedicated area for shoppers to test out items they are purchasing, as well as an area for nursing moms.

The back-to-school sale runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

It is free to attend. Parking is $8, but JBF will take $8 off of purchases when customers present their TCC parking stub.
