Realtors don’t know how much money their new piggy-bank bus can hold, but they’re hoping to find out tomorrow by stuffing it with cash to benefit local schools and students.

The Tucson Association of Realtors, which represents 4,800 real estate professionals in Southern Arizona, has partnered with Tucson Values Teachers on the drive. The teachers’ support group can leverage cash donations at 2-to-1 to buy supplies at Walgreens to be delivered to local schools.

Donors are asked to make checks payable to the Tucson Realtors Charitable Foundation, a tax-exempt nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, in order to receive their tax-deductible receipt immediately.

The piggy bank will be hungry from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Tucson Association of Realtors, 2445 N. Tucson Blvd.
