The Arizona Department of Insurance has revoked the professional license of Tucson insurance agent Jeffrey Carl Hansen for alleged misconduct.

Hansen collected $4,323 in premiums on nine auto insurance policies but kept the money instead of remitting it to Farmers Insurance Co., according to an insurance department legal settlement.

He also manipulated his own auto insurance policy to save himself $2,482, according to the order.

The insurance department ordered Hansen to repay the money to Farmers.
