McMahon’s Prime Steakhouse and other nearby buildings owned by local restaurateur Bob McMahon will go on the auction block early next year.

A notice of Trustee’s Sale lists a total of eight properties on the southwest corner of Fort Lowell and Swan roads owned by McMahon Properties LLC, which include the offices of Metro Restaurants, going up for sale in January with proceeds going to lender Alliance Bank of Arizona.

County documents list the principal amount as $6 million, but it is unclear how much McMahon Properties owes the bank.

The company also stopped paying taxes on the eight properties, owing more than $300,000 in back taxes according to records with the county treasurer.

Company officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
