TucsonHelpWanted.com holding career fair today

TucsonHelpWanted.com is hosting a career fair for job seekers from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Doubletree Tucson-Reid Park, 445 S. Alvernon Way.

There are about 350 job seekers registered to attend and about 15 employers with job opportunities. Job seekers are encouraged to pre-register at TucsonHelpWanted.com to avoid lengthy waiting times to get in.

Employers participating in the job fair are Geico, Antech Corp., Arizona Army National Guard, Bass & Associates P.C., Brake Max, Clear Channel Tucson, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, Lotus Communications Tucson, Omni Hotels & Resorts, The Legend Group, United Fire Equipment Co., U.S. Army and Army Reserves.

Pima County Fair sets job fair for Saturday

The Pima County Fair is having a job fair to hire temporary staff to work the month of April.

The job fair will be from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Pima County Fairgrounds Sunset Cantina, 11300 S. Houghton Road.

Positions available are in admissions, customer service, food service, maintenance, parking and transportation.

Applicants must bring a government-issued ID card and will be required to pass a background check. Employment applications can be downloaded from www.pimacountyfair.com to be filled out and brought to the job fair.
