The votes are finally counted, the suds have settled and for the second year in a row, Dragoon Brewery can proudly boast that they make the area's best beer.

The brewery won “Best Overall Beer” at Friday's Born & Brewed: Tucson’s Beer Cup contest at Hotel Congress. The results were announced today.

Four hundred people voted during the sold-out event, which featured entries from other Tucson breweries including Barrio, Nimbus, Borderlands, Sentinel Peak, Thunder Canyon, Ten 55 and The Address Brewing Co.

The win earns Dragoon the inscribed offical Beer Cup lets them keep their handle in the Tap Room at Hotel Congress for another year.

Borderlands Brewery won “Best Specialty Beer” for its Citrana Wild Ale.
