Firebirds Wood Fired Grill: The restaurant at La Encantada will again participate in Alex’s Lemonade Days, the annual fundraiser by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to raise funds for childhood cancer research. On Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12, from 11:30 a.m. — 9 p.m., Firebirds will sell fresh lemonade for $3 a cup, with all proceeds going to ALSF.

Fry’s Food Stores: During June, which is National Pride Month, a portion of proceeds from the sale of Jones Soda, Neuro Brand Products and Smirnoff at Fry’s stores will benefit the ONE Community Foundation. The foundation says its goal is “educating and raising awareness about Arizona’s lack of equal protections.”

Larry H. Miller dealerships: The dealerships’ charities division presented a donation of $8,000 to the TMC Foundation Pediatric Therapies Division of Tucson Medical Center.

Tucson Federal Credit Union: TFCU presented a total of $45,000 in donations June 1 to three local nonprofit organizations in its 6th Annual Community Partnership Awards: Aviva Children’s Services, Tu Nidito and Intermountain Centers for Human Development.
