STANFORD, Calif. - Arizona Wildcats quarterback Matt Scott will not play tonight against No. 10 Stanford as he recovers from a wrist injury suffered a week ago.

Nick Foles will start at quarterback for the first time since dislocating his right kneecap Oct, 16, with Bryson Beirne backing him up. True freshman Cameron Allerheiligen traveled with the team and will serve as the third-stringer.

Scott, a junior, injured his wrist in the second half of Arizona's 29-21 win over UCLA but - because of Foles' injury — stayed in the game.

Scott was limited in practice all week with the injury, which is believed to be a ligament problem. Coach Mike Stoops did not address Scott's injury during the week; in fact, he made both Scott and Foles unavailable for interviews.

The 13th-ranked Wildcats and Cardinal kick off at 5 p.m.
