Laugh and help support Save the Saveable, a local effort to find homes for the cats and dogs who may be most at-risk at Pima Animal Care Center.

Some may be mature, need additional medical and behavioral care, or have some physical impediments — but these challenges should not stop pets from happy endings, said Karyn Zoldan, an organizers.

You can help out these animals at a fundraiser — the Gaslight Theatre’s performance of “The Two Amigos” at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7. Tickets cost $22 and can be purchased online via Eventbrite. It’s holiday gift that keeps on giving.

Along with the show, there will be raffle prize drawings where you can put the ticket in the bin of what you want to win. Prizes include a two-nights stay at Hyatt Huntington Beach; one person kayak; UA logo cart golf bag; two nights at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia, Paradise Valley; a dog surf and turf package; cat tree; a year’s supply of dog biscuits; jewelry; private wine tasting for eight people in Elgin; original art and more. People can buy raffle tickets online or at the event.

An initiative of No Kill Pima County, is a 501c3 all-volunteer grassroots, community group dedicated to saving the healthy, treatable and rehabitable homeless pets and feral cats in Pima County.

Rescue groups that share No Kill Pima County’s Facebook post promoting the event are entered into a special drawing to win a prize geared especially for them: behavioral consult for a dog or cat, $100 to their veterinarian, one spay or neuter, or one X-ray.
