Tucson’s Kore Press turns 20 this year.

That’s 20 years of publishing works by female writers, and providing educational opportunities to girls.

If you ask us, that’s a good reason to celebrate.

Which is what the nonprofit will be doing with its Benefit Art Auction & Garden Party Sunday.

More than 30 local artists have donated works for the event, which will take place at The Franklin House, 402 N. Main Ave.

And look at some of those whose works are included: Cynthia Miller, Barbara Penn, Mykl Wells, Ellen McMahon … the list goes on. You can check out the art available at korepress.org

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. And a limited number of student tickets are $10. Get them at the website or at 327-2127.
