QUICK DIPS

Water World

What:

Water park with eight giant slides, 15 kiddie slides and nine swimming pools.

When:

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays-Sundays and holidays. Park hours continue through Sept. 5.

Where:

3551 S. San Joaquin Road. Take Ajo Way west past South Kinney Road to South San Joaquin Road and turn right. Take South San Joaquin Road north past West Bopp Road. Water World will be on the right

Cost:

$10.95. That cost includes one free admission for either an adult 60 and older or child 5 and younger.

The next Hot Summer Night will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 10. Cost is $4 a person.

Breakers Water Park

What:

Water park with slides, inner tubes, kiddie pools and one of the biggest wave pools in Arizona.

When:

10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays-Sundays

Where:

8555 W. Tangerine Road, Marana. Take Interstate 10 West to Tangerine Road. The park is to the east and can be seen from the freeway.

Cost:

Admission, which does not include tax, is $14.95; free for those 3 and younger; $8.95 for those ages 4-11; $5.95 seniors 60 and older; $6.95 spectators; and $7.95 after 3 p.m. Ramadas can be rented for $25, and a season pass is $69.95.

Teen nights for those ages 13-17 are held from 8 p.m. to midnight Fridays. Cost is $7 and includes swimming and dancing.
