s.com">Bruegger’s Bagels is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a bagel-giveaway Thursday morning.
But you need to act quickly: It's only available from the time they open at 5:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. You can get a free New York style bagel — crunchy on the outside, chewy inside — at any Bruegger’s store after you like them on Facebook and download and print out the coupon. You also can download it onto your smart phone.
Bruegger's was founded by Nord Brue and Mike Dressell in Troy, N.Y., in 1983 at a time when America was just getting familiar with the bagel. The pair perfected their recipe of flour, water, malt, yeast and salt, and made a name for themselves with kettle-boiled and then stone-oven baked bagels.
Bruegger's has 10 Tucson area locations including 1064 Campbell Ave., 88 W. River Road, 1 W. Congress St. and 11165 N. La Canada Drive in Oro Valley.
