With the exception of opening for the Mercado's second annual July 4th Pig Roast and Festival, the restaurant will be closed until Aug. 1. It will reopen with an expanded menu and a mini reinvention, said the restaurant’s spokeswoman Norma Gentry of ProVentures.
Gentry said among the changes will be a bigger wine list and adding a raw bar and artisan cheeses to the French bistro’s offerings.
Agustin Brasserie, which opened in March 2012, anchors the 15,000-square-foot Mercado San Agustín public market at 100 S. Avenida del Convento and Congress Street.
