In case you were considering getting a jump on your 2013 New Year’s resolutions, you might want to stay clear of Burger King.

The fast-food burger chain is unveiling seven new menu items that might tempt you to put off the veggies and low-fat regime until February.

Beginning Monday, Burger King will offer white meat chicken nuggets in a crispy tempura-style batter (four for $1, six for $1.99, 10 for $2.69 and 20 for $4.29).

Also new to the menu:

• Move over Whopper and make room for the Avocado Swiss Whopper with thick-cut bacon, melted Swiss cheese, creamy avocado spread and a zesty avocado aioli.

• Chicken gets a makeover with two additions — the Philly Original Chicken Sandwich and the Italian Original Chicken Sandwich.

• Go goofy over the cheesy tots, making a by-popular-demand return to the menu.

• And finally the ooey-gooey finale: Molten Fudge Bites (fudge-brownies filled with molten chocolate and dusted with powdered sugar) and Molten Fudge Sundae (the fudge bites added to an ice cream sundae).

Burger King has several Tucson locations including 871 W. Saint Mary's Road, 10 N. Wilmot Road, 7880 E. Speedway and 10615 N. Oracle Road in Oro Valley.
