The University of Arizona's Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry continues its creative collaborations with a program Saturday that looks at the sociological commentary of cabaret songs.

UA piano prof Paula Fan, principal pianist for the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, and professor David Chisholm will look at 20th century German cabaret songs and William Bolcom's three volumes of cabaret songs, which organizer described as "wry musical glimpses of contemporary human relationships."

During the program, Brad Holland will perform a medley from “Cabaret,” and "Die Moritat von Mackie Messer" (Mack the Knife.

The program starts at 11 a.m. Saturday in the lower level of the UA Bookstore.
