Contigo Cocina Latina is turning 3 years old and celebrating with tequila and tacos.

Starting today at 5 p.m. — and running every Thursday through the summer — the restaurant, 1745 E. River Road, is offering taco and tequila specials.

Along with its popular short rib and duck options, Contigo is rolling out new tacos, including suckling pig tacos with green apple salsa; a grilled fish of the day and a veggie version with sauteed zucchini and squash. Tacos are $3 each.

“We’re just trying to get all the flavors from South America in our tacos,” said head server/manager Jorge Fernandez.

Contigo is also offering different tequila flights throughout the summer, which run from $12-$22.
