Mac’s Pub and Patio in Green Valley rolled out a new menu that mines the depths of traditional English pub grub.
Mac’s, which took over the space of Trivetti’s Restaurant & Piano Bar at 190 W. Continental Road, has a new menu that includes the ubiquitous bangers and mash — pork sausage and mashed potatoes with gravy — and fish and chips; Mac’s uses cod fillets and serves it with house coleslaw. There are also several traditional meat pies topped with puffed pastry including a savory steak and ale, and a pork and apple; and a meatless variety, the savory mushroom pie. Prices run $6.99 to $13.99.
Hours: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, open until 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
