Chinese pianist Lang Lang’s  UApresents concert Sunday has become a casualty of Hurricane Sandy.

Lang Lang today notified UApresents that the storm had complicated his travel plans from New York. He was set to perform at Centennial Hall at 7 p.m. Sunday.

UApresents marketing director Jo Alenson said the concert won’t be rescheduled because Lang’s schedule is already full. Lang, who has performed several times in Tucson since he hit the international scene in the late 1990s, was coming here with a program of Mozart sonatas and Chopin ballades. This would have been his fifth Tucson appearance.

Those holding tickets for Sunday’s concert can get a full refund or tickets for another UApresents show. For details, click here  or call the box office at 621-3341.
