Miguel’s turns Gringo Grill at La Posada
Miguel’s at La Posada quietly transitioned into the Gringo Grill & Cantina last month.
The new concept, at 5900 N. Oracle Road, sports “Southwest cuisine with a Spanish influence” according to general manager Raul Hernandez.
Menu items include carnitas sliders, braised short ribs in a chipotle sauce and a Sonoran burger, a half-pound burger, covered in mesquite bacon, cured tomatoes, shaved onions, beans, crème and jalapeño jam on a bolillo roll.
Hernandez said it is chef Scott Rackliff’s take on the traditional Sonoran hot dog.
Gringo Grill and Cantina is open 3-10 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 3 p.m.-midnight Fridays-Saturdays.
