A venue change has left some ticket holders for Sixto Rodriguez, the musician showcased in the documentary “Searching for Sugar Man,” searching for seating.

The concert, scheduled for April 19, was slated to take place at the Rialto Theatre.

Tickets were $23 apiece and the event sold out within days of being announced.

But ticket holders were caught off guard when they received an email Monday saying the show had moved venues, from the Rialto to a parking lot a block away, in order to accommodate more people.

Those who purchased tickets could still use them, but they now only amounted to general admission, standing room only.

People who wanted to sit for the show, something that was guaranteed at the Rialto, had to pay $17 more.

The notification sparked a flurry of angry responses and Rialto management has since been working to find a solution.
