Upstart Tucson brewery Sentinel Peak Brewing Company is now serving food alongside its brews.

The nano brewery, 4746 E. Grant Road, rolled out a menu of salads, “light bites” and sandwiches today. Prices run from $2.50 for appetizer-sized snacks that include chips and salsa and Bavarian-style soft pretzels to $8.95 for sandwiches.

“We lead with our beer but our food is right there with it,” said Taylor Carter, who owns Sentinel Peak with partners Matt Gordon and Jeremy Hilderbrand. All three are firefighters with Golder Ranch Fire District in the far northwest side.

Sentinel Peak will serve food throughout the day. It is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays.
