Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Resort is celebrating Arizona Restaurant Week by officially launching Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails in the space that once housed Dos Locos. That restaurant closed last spring.

Epazote — pronounced “ep – uh – zó – tay” — has been open for about five weeks but will make it official Friday as a kickoff for Arizona Restaurant Week, Sunday through Sept. 23.

During Arizona Restaurant Week, $30 per person will get you a three-course meal that will serve as a primer of Epazote’s menu.

The restaurant, at 10000 N. Oracle Road in Oro Valley, is open for dinner only from 5 to 10 p.m. daily. Entrees start at $16 and go as high as $26.

“Social Hour” with drink and food specials is from 4 to 6 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays.
