McDonald’s is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its classic Filet-O-Fish sandwich by introducing its bite-size cousin, the Fish McBites.

Now through March, you can get the crispy, deep-fried tender fish bites in three sizes, snack, regular and 10-ounce shareable. Next Tuesday through Thursday, you can sample the snack size for a buck at participating restaurants.

The Fish McBites also are available in the Happy Meal for a limited time.

This is the first time McDonald's has introduced a fish item since the Filet-O-Fish.

The Tucson area is home to a number of McDonald's restaurants including 5225 S. Palo Verde, 1711 E. Speedway, 801 E. Grant Road and 3800 W. Lindavista Blvd. in Marana.
