Il Divo, the acclaimed cross-over classical quartet, has tapped a handful of Tucson Symphony Orchestra players and well-known Tucson musicians to back them when they play a concert at Casino del Sol's AVA Friday.

The orchestra will include: First violins Michael Fan, Ben Nesbit, Ellen Chamberlain and Anna Gendler; second violins Melanie Olsen, Toru Tagawa and Laura Tagawa; violists Ann Weaver and Rebecca McKee; cellist Anne Gratz; double bass player Jim Karrer; flutist Sandy Schwoebel; oboist Bill Ballentine; clarinetist Andy Braden; Johanna Lundy and Victor Valenzuela on French horn; trumpeter Jason Carder; trombonist Rob Boone; Christine Vivona on harp; percussionis Homero Ceron; guitarist Ed Delucia; and pianist Lisa Otey.

Friday's concert begins at 8 p.m. at the AVA, 5655 W. Valencia Road. Tickets are $40 to $150.
