You probably noticed that your neighborhood Red Lobster restaurant has suddenly taken on distinctive New England air.

That’s because the national seafood chain recently remodeled two of its four Tucson outposts — 5870 E. Broadway and 5061 N. Oracle Road — in a style inspired by the New England coast. The outside is anchored by a stone tower festooned with ship lanterns and Adirondack-style chairs on the patios.

All four of the Tucson eateries join the other 700-plus Red Lobster restaurants in a menu makeover that positions Red Lobster to be more family-affordable. The menu significantly increases the number of items priced below $15 and bumps up the number of non-seafood selections.

The other Tucson-area Red Lobster locations are 11695 N. Oracle Road in Oro Valley and 5315 S. Calle Santa Cruz.
