Tucson's own Tap & Bottle came in third in the

Mountain West region of Craftbeer.com's second annual Great American Beer Bars list.

The fledgling beer bar, which opened at 403 N. Sixth Ave. in June, came in behind Denver's Falling Rock Tap House and fellow Colorado brew house Oskar Blues Home Made Liquids & Solids in Longmont.

The ranking is pretty impressive given that Tap & Bottle is so new on the scene.

Tap & Bottle pours 20 craft beers that regularly change. On tap this week: Left Hand's Milk Stout on Nitro, Scotland's Harviestoun Old Engine Oil Engineer's Reserve, College Street American Wheat, Four Peak's Arizona Peach and a handful of Sante Fe brews. Prices start at $4.50 and go as high as $8.

Hours: 2 to 11 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, noon to 12 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 8 p.m. Sundays.
