Tucson's newest Asian buffet opened near Tucson mall earlier this month.

Golden Coast Super Buffet at 4406 N. First Ave. opened Feb. 3 in the spacious building that long housed Golden Corral near the Tucson Mall.

The Asian buffet has a lineup of Chinese favorites including lo mein and rice dishes, and Japanese specialties from stir frys to sushi. The cost is $6.89 for lunch, $9.89 for dinner and all day Sunday.

Meanwhile, Forty Niner Country Club has launched a new menu to go with the new look at Rincon Mountain Grill. There's also extended hours and dinner service.

The restaurant pulled out its new internationally-inspired menu — French steamed mussels, Mexican fruit salad, blackjack ribeye steak with English Maytag bleu cheese among the notable offerings— that replaces the restaurant’s classic club menu. The restaurant also extended its hours to include nightly dinner service with prices range from $9.95 for a small pizza to $21.95 for the ribeye.

Weekly specials include Wednesday Night Burger Bistro, Friday Night Fish Fry and Saturday Night Prime Rib. The Grill is at 12000 E. Tanque Verde Road. Details: 749-4001.
