Single tickets for UApresents 2014-15 season went on sale today and already the folks at the University of Arizona arts presenting group are keeping tabs on which show is the frontrunner.

As of just before noon today, UApresents had sold 6,684 tickets to the 29 events on the season lineup. And they've come up with a Top 10 list of shows that seem to be striking a chord with ticketbuyers.

Here are the shows that have posted the highest sales, courtesy UApresents spokesman Chad Lehrman:

10. "A Sondheim Evening," Dec. 5 at Crowder Hall.

9. Boston chamber orchestra A Far Cry, Feb. 5, Crowder.

8. Jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves, Jan. 18 at Fox Tucson Theatre.

7. "Ladies Sing the Blues," April 18 at the Fox.

6. Classical pianist Murray Perahia, March 10 at Centennial Hall.

5. Comedian and former late-night TV host Jay Leno Oct. 25 at Centennial Hall. (That's the season opener.)

4. Montreal's urban grunge circus act Sequence 8 Feb. 15 at Centennial Hall.

3. Jazz band The Hot Sardines, Jan. 23 at the Fox.

2. Broadway actress/vocalist Audra McDonald, March 15 at the Fox.

And No. 1 .... Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's "Revelations," April 12 at Centennial Hall.
