The 32-burger field of Burger Madness has been narrowed down to four with each restaurant representing a different part of town.

Catalina Foothills has Fini’s Landing , 5689 N. Swan Road. Reader nominations for the seafood joint recommended the Chubasco Burger: Pecan-smoked bacon Cheddar, fried jalapeños and spicy chubasco mayo. Try it for breakfast with a fried egg on top.

Fini’s beat out Frank’s Sports Grill and Bar to advance to the semifinal.

Representing the University of Arizona-area is Gentle Ben’s Brewing Co., 865 E. University Blvd., where the longstanding customer favorite is the Diane Burger served on a ciabatta bun with melted Swiss cheese and sliced white mushrooms and onions sautéed in butter, garlic, parsley beef stock and red wine. Pro tip: Get the fries beer-battered.

Gentle Ben’s, the oldest restaurant of the remaining four, took out Grumpy’s Grill in its matchup.

The south side is represented by Amigos Burgers and Beer, 6372 S. Nogales Highway, where the signature burger is a handmade Angus beef patty with avocado, handmade chipotle mayo, two strips of applewood bacon and red onion. Amigos beat runoff winner Trident Grill.

Midtowners got behind Zivaz Mexican Bistro, 4590 E. Broadway, where the signature burger is open-flame grilled with onions, chipotle aioli, tomato and greens. Add a chile relleno for $2.

Zivaz beat Monkey Burger, the only remaining No. 1-seed (based on the restaurants’ number of nominations).
