It’s not sold by the slice. You’ll have to buy the whole thing, so bring friends.

Chocolate cake. Fudge filling. Chocolate butter-cream frosting.

It’s good. Every, last, finger-licking crumb.

You’ll need to share those crumbs, though. This $26 cake from Nadines Bakery — 4553 E. Broadway, — is not sold by the slice, so split with some friends. The 10-inch cake can serve 20, easy.

Rich smears of fudge hold together the three layers of chocolate cake, and the fluffy frosting is the kind we would eat straight from a spoon — a lighter complement to the gooey fudge.

Moist and decadent, this is everything chocolate cake should be. Too bad it fills you up so fast.

You’ll wish you could eat more.
